Familiarization tour 2012
During a week you will get know Altai you could just fall in love with it and could not hide it from your clients.
Day 1 We will meet you up at the airport in Novosibirsk. You can get there by plane from Moscow or Saint-Petersburg. You will appear in the mountains and on shore of great and rapid river after 500 km of slightly monotonous drive. Then there will be a small excursion through Botanic Garden.
Day 2 You will get experience as a participant of rafting on the river Katun. For 2-3 hours we will get you through some "real" rifts on a raft. But it is not easy as it seems. Our professional guides and reliable "GRABNER' equipment will help you to enjoy the struggle against the river. During the rafting it is possible to make a stop on the rocky island Patmos. The island is situated in the middle of the river with the beautiful wooden church on it.
After the rafting we will visit hotels and camping in Chemalskiy and Mayminskiy regions.
Day 3 Then moving through wonderful mountain way to yurt-and-tent camp.
Day 4 Climbing through the pass Ak-Tru till glacier. Lunch on the ice tongue.
Day 5 Trip to Kosh-Agatch. Visiting Telengit temple and Muslim mosque.
Day 6 Way back to Kamlak with a stop next to training point "Seminskiy pass". You will get till panoramic point.
Day 7 Returning to Novosibirsk with a stop next to holy spring Arghan-Suu. There is an opportunity to get souvenirs.
Day 8 Leave for home.
It is a hard tour because of many numbers of transfers. You will have the bus, all for bivouacs and rafting, meal for three times per day, guide with assistant, who will give you information about Altai and answer all questions.

ALTAY - WESTERN MONGOLIA
This tour is created for friends and colleagues
Day 1 Meeting at the airport. Departure to Altay - 500 km by good road, stopover in Gorno-Altaysk, the capital of Altay Republic for registration in OVIR.
Overnight stay in Kamlak or on Seminskiy Pass.
Day 2 Move to jurt camping Aak-Telengit by Chuyskiy Trakt(highway) through mountain passes. It is the camping in Chuyskiy Steppe at the height of 1700 meters above sea level. Severo-Chuyskiy mountain range with glaciers and peaks is 4000 meters higher and it is in front of you!
Ascent of the panoramic spot.
In the evening Russian baths will take place.
Day 3 Ascent of Ak-Tru ravine and if you are in a good form you can climb to "Blue ravine" (2600 meters). Overnight stay in mountain hut for those who wishes.
Day 4 One day in Ak-Tru.
Alpinists can ascent of Ak-Tru (4048 meters) - in the case you are in a good form and have a wish. Alpine equipment up to 3-A ice (AD).
There are also easier and shorter peaks: Kyzyl-Tash and Kupol.
Or it is possible (if you'll descent to the base camping in the evening) to go to Kurumdu ravine. This rivine is almost not visited by people.
Day 5 Early morning departure and crossing Mongolian border.
Overnight stay in a camping or in Bayan-Ulgiy.
Day 6 Leaving for the National park Tavan-Bog.
Rise to base camping.
Day 7 Return to Bayan-Ulgiy.
Meeting with hunters with golden eagles.
Visiting museum.
Day 8 Leaving for Biysk. Coming for evening train to Novosibirsk. One night in the train.
Day 9 Arrival in Novosibirsk.
