The Great SA Five

This year we have helped 5 foolhardy guys from South Africa in their journey across Russia. It turned out that on the other side of the world there live great, courageous and cheerful fellows!

They went from Moscow to Novosibirsk, spent a week at Altai and further via Baikal, Mongolia, Beijing they went back to Africa. They almost did a world tour!

The new footprints of the snow leopard

Skiing at the end of March at Ak-Tru we've ran across some snow leopard's footprints. It was going down from from the pass to the Blue Lake and furhter. The shots were taken by Aleksei Pronin and Roman Rolin.

The snow leopards' footprints

The news is especially for former, present and future Biosphere Expeditions participants. During "the snow-ice alpine expedition" in March, there were found numerous footprints of the snow leopard. The photos were made by Sergey Kurgin, Bogdan Brakus and Milijus Milan.
