"Sayan Ring" festival is obtaining the international status and acknowledgement on a high level. This fact proves by the results of 2009 festival in which took part performers, workers of culture, volunteers and reporters from different countries. Also popularity of the festival is growing in Russia. Every year participants and guests come to Shushenskoe from different parts of Russia - from Kaliningrad till Vladivostok. Extended geography of "Sayan Ring" confirms the mission of the project - the unanimity of varieties of ethnic cultures.
Is expected that in 2010 "Sayan Ring" will gather 100 creative teams from all over the world, it will be coryphees of ethnic culture, original singers and musicians.

Festival "Hunts with a golden eagle"
A traditional annual festival is in western Mongolia. One of the most original kazakh national traditions is hunt with a hand golden eagle. Long and difficult way of teaching of wild golden eagle, therefore the secrets of domestication passed from a generation in a generation through the dynasties of hunters - berkutchi. Usually berkutchi saddles a horse and drives out on the searches of bird late in autumn.
On an area, where an eagle hunts often, a network is placed with a lure - pigeon or keklikom - and a catching process occupies 1 - 2 days. When the cherished golden eagle is caught, domestication and preparation of him begins to hunt. A few days it is not given a golden eagle to sleep and does not feed. Being next to a golden eagle, a hunter does not sleep, speaking with him and playing on dombra, that a golden eagle got used.
In the beginning the eagle is shy, rushed at a man, but hunger is done the work, and a moment comes, when a freedom-loving golden eagle takes the first piece of meat from the hands of owner. A golden eagle let loose on the hide of fox which is pulled on a rope; taking away an imaginary booty, a hunter rewards a bird a prize catch. Gradually train and to tomaga - to the leather little cap, to closing eyes to the golden eagle, that he was not distracted from hunt.
On hunt tomaga take off only then, when booty appears and golden eagle, seeing it, flies after an escaping victim.
A festival passes not far from a yurt's campsite, located in 26 kilometers from a city Ul'giya, on the riverside Khovd.

There were two variants of game. In first case two riders entered into a fight, in other are two commands, from different auls and births. Purpose - first to carry extinguish a goat, to the agreed place. On the signal of judge everybody tried to take a carcass, other was given up in pursuit, to tear up booty.
Kyz Kuu - a competition between men and women (go after a girl) is a game, by the roots get-away in deep antiquity, when girls were warriors and horsemen. They produced chosen one the row of terms. In the case of victory a warrior had a right to get married on she. A few variants of this game, conducted during wedding and other triumphs, reached in the modified form to us.
A game was conducted on the opened field on certain distance. At the end of the field set a control turning post. On the terms of game a girl must strike the lash of the Caucasian horseman and to start at a gallop, that first destinate to the turning post, and the Caucasian horseman - to go after it. If the Caucasian horseman catch up her to the line of turn, as a winner had a right to hug and kiss a girl. If he did not go after a girl, on the return trip, she went after the blundering Caucasian horseman and inflicted him numerous shots by a lash. Similar failures were disgrace for a horseman and required much time that about them forgot.
Kumiss Alu - Horsemen engage in competition of coin from earth in the moment of gallops. It one of national types of sport, requiring from the participants of speed, adroitness and brave management a horse. Sense of game consists of that a rider on gallop must heave up the coin fixed on earth.

14:30. Competition ¹ 3 the Fox hide. A golden eagle must catch a fox hide, tied to the tail of horse of hunter.
18:00. Final supper. Rewarding of winners.
